3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS SAFARI LAKE MANYARA – NGORONGORO CRATER – TARANGIRE S003
Sheltering under the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara is a beautiful little park well known for its diverse set of landscapes and wildlife.
Called the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts a blend of landscapes, wildlife, people and archaeology that is unsurpassed in Africa.
Tarangire National Park offers picturesque views of Savannah lands, acacia stands, clusters of baobab trees and large herds of elephant.
After breakfast, you will depart from Keys Hotels Travel & Tours and begin your safari to Lake Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which spends most of the day spread out along the branches of Acacia trees six to seven metres above the ground. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is noted for its incredible beauty. As visitors enter the gate, they pass into the lush forest, home to troops of baboons and both blue and vervet monkeys. Further along, the forest opens up into woodlands, grassland, swamps and beyond the soda lake itself, covering 200 square kilometres and sanctuary to over 400 species of bird including flamingo, pelican, stork, sacred ibis, cormorant and Egyptian Geese. The park is particularly noted for its huge herds of buffalo and elephant, as well as giraffe, hippo, reedbuck, warthog, wildebeest, zebra and a great variety of smaller animals.
During your private tailor-made safari, you will be accommodated in or near the parks as described below.
The days will be spent giving you the best game-viewing experience possible in each park, with either morning and afternoon game drives or full day excursions. If you are opting to do a "drive-in" safari, the drive between parks may be broken with cultural visits to local villages or historical hotspots and further game-viewing, guaranteeing that your transfers are far from boring.
Your itinerary is fairly flexible from day to day and options may be discussed with your guide before setting off for the day.
Lodge Safari Vehicle includes the following:

It is famous for its dense wildlife population which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time, thousands of animals – elephants, buffalos, giraffes, elands, wildebeests, kudus, hartebeests and the rarely seen oryx – migrate from the dry Masai steppe to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lions, leopards and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire has the largest population of elephants than any park in the northern circuit and is also a home to 550 varieties of birds.
